OpportunityLabs

Helping trust-based businesses find their people.

Meet the Team

OpportunityLabs is a relationship-driven business, and the way we work reflects that. We help trust-based businesses find their people through thoughtful strategy, clear communication, and more human outbound. If you’re exploring whether we may be a fit, let’s connect!

Philip Morgan

Philip Morgan

I’m Philip, founder of OpportunityLabs. I’ve spent years trying to understand what kind of marketing actually works for introverted small businesses that sell trust-based expert services. That question is a big part of why OpportunityLabs exists, and it continues to shape how we think about helping clients find the right people.

Over time, my work has focused on specialization, positioning, point of view, and, more recently, curation as a way to create value. I’m especially interested in building approaches that feel thoughtful, efficient, and grounded in how trust-based businesses really grow.

A lot of my current work explores how curated publications, targeted visibility, and smarter outreach can help businesses create meaningful connection without having to become traditional thought leaders. I’ve also written several books and guides on positioning, lead generation, business strategy, and related topics.

Cheryl R. Janis

Cheryl R. Janis

I’m Cheryl, co-owner and partner at OpportunityLabs. I help clients communicate clearly, feel supported, and build visibility through thoughtful, tailored outreach aligned with their goals.

I’m also the host of the Healthcare Interior Design 2.0 podcast, and I’ve been hosting conversations in this space for a decade. Over the years, I’ve seen firsthand how meaningful communication builds trust, opens doors, and helps the right people find each other. Through the podcast, I’ve had the opportunity to help sponsors build genuine relationships with industry leaders and clients through thoughtful, trust-based connection.

That’s a big part of what I love about my work here at OpportunityLabs. I enjoy helping clients communicate clearly, feel supported, and create opportunities to be seen, heard, and remembered. Whether that means outreach, helping clients pursue speaking opportunities, or simply shaping the right next step, I care about making the process feel thoughtful, personal, and aligned.
